Do we compare ourselves to 
others? 
Do we think we're better than others?
 Are we focused on what we want or what God wants?

Some of us don't even realize when we are being prideful. Here are some examples: Impatience with traffic, irritation with the store clerk, criticism of a relatives behavior, sarcasm about other people's lack of morality and intelligence, fear of failure, defensiveness when criticized, desire for control, even when our actions are honorable they are not entirely free of pride.
